Corrosion resistance:

Inconel 625 is an austenitic superalloy with nickel as the main component. Due to the strengthening effect of molybdenum and niobium solid solution contained in nickel chromium alloy, it has ultra-high strength and extraordinary fatigue resistance at low temperature to 1093 ℃, and is widely used in aviation industry. Although the alloy is designed to adapt to the strength of high-temperature environment, the high content of chromium and molybdenum in the alloy has high resistance to corrosion spots and cracking corrosion for many corrosion media, from high oxidation environment to general corrosion environment, showing excellent corrosion resistance. Inconel 625 also has strong corrosion resistance to chloride contaminated media such as seawater, geothermal water, neutral salt and salt water.
